Correlation of D-dimer and ischemic stroke
Rezumat
Background: Stroke is a leading cause of physical disability and mortality around the world. D-dimer, which the final product of plasma in-mediated degradation of fibrin-rich thrombi, has emerged as a simple blood test that can be used in diagnostic algorithms for the exclusion of venous thromboembolism many studies have investigated the association between levels of plasma hemostatic markers and AIS outcomes []. Among these markers, the role of D-dimer in AIS was a hot spot of research. D-dimer Aim of stud: To evaluate if there any the correlation of D-dimer in with occurrence of ischemic stroke Patients and methods retrospective control study of 67 patients admitted to hospital with ischemic stroke envaulted of D-dimer level and versus with 69 healthy control individuals Results and discussion: I in this study There is significant difference between D-dimer level between patients with ischemic stroke and control group with P value 0.0001Our findings were consistent with results of previous prospective studies showing that D-dimer levels were elevated in the acute phase of AIS compared with the healthy control population Conclusion: Is this study we conclude close relationship between the ischemic stroke and D-dimer
